Backpack Agreement

I have inspected backpack # ________ and have paid $45. Except as noted below I find it to be in good condition. In order to keep it that way I agree to the following:

1. I will be careful when taking it off, will not throw it down in the dirt or on a rock.

2. I will always lean it against a tree or rock with the frame side away from me.

3. I will be careful with the zippers, making sure not to catch anything in them, or overstuff the pockets.

4. I will be careful when I pull the cords, straps and clips.

5. I will clean out any spilled food so the pack will not attract the attention of any squirrels and bears.

6. I will use Spray and Wash on soiled areas and wash off pack with garden hose.

7. I will return the pack and straps on _________________ between 9am-12noon to get my deposit back.

Sleeping Bag Agreement

I have inspected sleeping bag # ________ and have paid $55 to rent it. Except as noted below I find it to be in good condition. In order to keep it that way I agree to the following:

1. I will always keep the bag out of the dirt by using a ground cover under my ensolite pad.

2. I will not “leap frog” around camp or roll over friends while in my bag.

3. I will be careful with the zippers, making sure not to catch anything in them, and by always zipping it carefully using the inside zipper.

4. I will use Spray and Wash on soiled areas and then was the bag inside out in a front loading washing machine and only air dry in the dryer. (following manufacturer instructions)

5. I will return the sleeping bag on _________________ between 9am-12noon to get my deposit back.
